JKCA to conduct trial camp for Vijay Hazare Trophy from February 4

Srinagar, Feb 01: J&K Cricket Association (JKCA) is going to start the trial camp for Vijay Hazare Trophy (One-days) at GGM Science College ground, Jammu from Febuary 4.

JKCA has started calling probables from all the districts of J&K, who will join earlier-shortlisted players of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in the camp from Febuary 4 in Jammu.

BCCI decided to not hold Ranji Trophy four-day format tournament and instead went with Vijay Hazare One Day tournament, which is expected to kick-start from February 18.

JKCA, in order to select its squad for the tournament, has started preperations by calling players for the trials. While players who were already shortlisted for previous tournament are included in this probable list, JKCA through its district unit is also calling players from all the districts.

“Camp is likely going to start from Febuary 04 in Jammu and in it around 70 players would be involved,” said a source in JKCA.
