J&K Thang-Ta team bagged total of 79 medals and a runner-up team trophy in the 24th National Thang-Ta Championship held in Rohtak Haryana from March 28-30.
J&K bagged 28 gold, 34 silver and 17 bronze medals in the age groups of sub junior, junior and senior in both male and female.
In the championship 31 teams from all over India took part and was organised by Haryana Thang-Ta Association in collaboration with Thang-Ta Federation of India.
Ansa Gulzar from Sheikhpora Budgam was declared best fighter of the tournament in junior girl category.
