Earlier Handwara Sports skipper won the toss decided to bat first and set a huge target of 290 -3 in alloted 35 overs.Both the openers played splended ininings , in which Mudasir hits unbeaten 92 runs followed by Mansoor Banday with 65 runs while Showkat and irfan added 53 and 25 respectively for Handwara Sports.Mohammad Assadullah , Latif Ahmad and Zeeshan Ahmad scalped 1 wicket each for Shining Star Sopore.
In reply Shining Star Sopore were bundled out for 128 runs in just 20 overs and lost the match by a huge margin of 162 runs.Zeeshan Ahmad and Waseem were only batsmen to spend time on crease and played some glorious strokes allaround the stadium.Zeeshan Ahmad made 41 runs while Waseem added 29 runs for Shining Star Sopore.
Irfan Ahmad took the first hatric of SSL while Akeel Scalped 4 wickets for Handwara Sports.Mudasir Ahmad was adjudged player of the match for his splendid unbeaten innings of 92 runs.
