Poonch: State Football Academy (SFA) of Jammu and Kashmir State Sports Council (JKSSC) conducted selection trials on Thursday at Sports Stadium Poonch.
The trials were conducted under the supervision of Senior Coach of JKSSC, JavedAhmad Sofi, Senior coach JKSSC, Vishvamitra, and SFA Coach, Arun Jasrotia. The whole event was coordinated by Rajindra Singh.
Almost 150 football aspirants from various remote villages took part in trials out of which 65 probables from three age groups under-12, under-15, and under-18 were shortlisted.
After witnessing the huge response from the participants, the selectors extended the schedule so as to provide equal chance to the football aspirants who were going through exams.
Moreover, SFA will likely conduct trials in Reasi and Rajouri in next two days under Mission-22.
