The upcoming Sopore Super League (SSL) cricket tournament will award a total prize money of Rs: 5 lakhs.
It was announced by the organizing committee of the league in a meeting held in Sopore on Sunday. The representative of the teams that are going to take part in this 35-over format tournament held meeting with organizing committee members to review the preparations of the event that is going start from first week of April.
Chairman SSL Nisar Ahmad Khanday briefed participants about the preparations of the League. He said that tournament will be played on league basis and at four different venues of Sopore , Baramulla, Handwara and Bandipora.
The winning team of the league will be awarded trophy and prize money of Rs. Three lakhs while as Rs. 1.5 lakhs to runner-up. Player of the league will be awarded with Royal Enfield Motor Cycle, Best Bowler and Best Batsmen will be awarded Hero Motor Cycles.
Player of the final be get kit bag worth Rs.30,000, chairman said.
