In the ongoing Cooch Behar Trophy, J&K playing their fifth match of the tourney posted 310/7 on Day 1 against Hyderabad.
After winning the toss, J&K captain Qamraan Iqbal decided to bat first. Though J&K lost Qamraan early but Jiyad and Vivrant guided the innings as they put together 123 run partnership.
Hyderabad made a strong comeback by taking two back to back wickets and reduced J&K to 131/3.
Later the duo of Jiyad and Tahsin Dar helped J&K cross 250 mark. After the wicket of Jiyad, Hyderabad bowlers ran through the middle and lower order of J&K as J&K finished the day one on 310/7.
Jiyad Nazir Magrey made his second consecutive hundred as he made 131 runs and Tahsin Dar is not out on 85.
From Hyderabad Sanketh and Reddy took 3 wickets each, the match is being played at Gymkhana ground Hyderabad.
