Jammu:- In the Football Semi Final of Inter zone sports meet 2017, Armed Zone defeated SDRF by 2-0 and qualifies for final at Gulshan Ground Jammu here.
In the closely contested semi final, both the teams missed several scoring opportunities.Arif opened the account for Armed Zone.The first half witnessed some aggressive play by both the teams . While SDRF was desperate to score an equaliser , the Armed Zone were trying to double tge lead.
Imtiyaz was the second scorer for Armed Zone.After trailing by two goals, the SDRF players tried their best to score and stepped up the attacks.But the defense line along with superlative performance of goalkeeper Javid Ahmad of the Armed Zone ensured that no goal was scored till the referee blew the final whistle.The event is organised by J&K Police.
