Riding on back of the strong performance in National championship Adil Teli of Kanihama area of Budgam has bagged silver medal for Kashmir University in the All India Inter-University Cycling championship at Rajasthan on Tuesday.
Teli finished second in the 100-kilomtre mass start event and bagged silver medal for Kashmir University. It is first ever medal for KU in Inter-University cycling event.
Adil had also recently bagged silver medal in national championship while as he had bagged gold last year in same national event.
Last year in same 100-kilometer event of All India Inter University championship , Mohammad Akber Khan the only International cyclist of J&K had bagged gold for GNDU. In the event Akber had bagged two gold medals. With that in total J&K players have bagged now three medals in the All India Inter-University championship.
