Ahmad Banday continued his superb form by notching up another fifty as J&K reduced the first inning margin to less than 100 against Haryana at Lahli on Saturday.
In response to Haryana first inning total of 184 runs, J&K with the help of Banday’s unbeaten 61 were on 86 for the loss of two wickets in 23 overs.
Punit Bisht was batting at other end on 11. Banday has hit 10 boundaries so far in his inning.
Ram Dayal and Mohammad Mudhasir shared nine wickets between them as J&K bundled out hosts Haryana for 184 runs in first inning on the first day of the Ranji trophy match at Lahli on Saturday.
Starting its inning from overnight total of 119/7, Haryana managed to score 184 for the loss of all wickets. Ram Dayal took five wicket haul while as Mohammad Mudhasir took four wickets. Parvez Rasool chipped in with one wicket.
