Goa dominated the first day of play against J&K in the Under-23 Col CK Nayudu Trophy tournament match at Sanguem on Friday.
Moomin Mansoor gave JK decent start by taking three wickets for the score of 56 runs. However, after that Goa was able to form two big partnership to get themselves out of trouble.
Shigwan and Kahlon put on 123 run stand between them for the fifth wicket. Shigwan got out after scoring 89 run knock. Kahlon formed another unbroken stand of 72 runs with MM Kasana for the sixth wickets.
At the end of days play, Goa were on 284 for the loss of five wickets. Kahlon was batting on 98 while as Kasan on 378. For J&K, Moomin took three wicket while as Aman took two.
