After five matches with only one match remaining Ahmad Omar Banday has emerged as J&K’s top run-getter in this season’s Ranji Trophy.
With 341 runs from five matches, Banday is placed at 32 number in Ranji Trophy run getter list. However he is at Number one position in J&K team. His 341 runs included one century and one fifty plus score.
At second place from J&K is Shubham Khajuria with 324 runs that include one century and two fifty plus scores. At number three position is Parvez Rasool with 273 runs while as Punit Bisht is number four position in JK team with 262 runs.
Banday is considered fine emerging talent of J&K Ranji trophy team and previously he has been performing consistently for at junior level and Under-23 level. Last year in Under-23 tournament for J&K Banday had scored double hundred.
