Having being around J&K Ranji trophy since 2012, 27-year old left-arm orthodox spinner of J&K team Aamir Aziz finally has come into limelight this year with the some consistence performances for the team.
Aamir has been in JK team since 2012 but never has he been consistent in his performance but this time he is different with 15 wickets already under his bag for the team. In the 23 first class matches so far in his career Aamir has picked 37 wickets of which he has taken 15 wickets only this year in the three matches. In the wicket takers list of this year’s Ranji trophy Aamir is at 23rd number, with 15 wickets.
In the last match, Aamir was instrumental as J&K defeated Jharkhand by 106 runs to register its first win of the season in Ranji trophy. In the match, he took nine wickets that included four in first inning while as five in second.
In the second inning he alongwith Parvez Rasool ran over Jharkhand as both claimed five wicket hauls to hand J&K its first win of season.
