The unbeaten fighting knock of 76 runs from skipper Qamran Iqbal lead J&K under-19 team to 110/ 4 at the end of second days play in the Under-19 Cooch Behar Trophy match at Sovima on Monday.
J&K are still trailing by nine runs as Tripura had got first inning lead of 119 runs. Qamran is batting on unbeaten 76 run knock off 115 balls. His inning so far include eight fours and two sixes. At the other end he is joined by Kanhaya Wadhwan on 7. J&K in second inning has lost Vivrant, Lotra, Sufiyaan and Tahsin Dar.
Earlier in the day Tripura got all out for 264 runs in their first inning. They earned first inning lead of 119 runs as J&K had only scored 145 in their first inning.
For J&K, Umar Majeed and Javid Ahmad took three wicket each.
