Jatin Wadhwan moved quickly to end day on unbeaten 145 off 150 balls to carry J&K total to 219/2 against Tripura on the second day of the U-23 CK Nayudu Trophy match at Agartalla On Friday.
Wadhwan who against Rajasthan slammed 178 run knock, is going strong to play another stellar long knock. His inning so far has included 9 sixes and 11 boundaries.
J&K are going strong at 219/2 for the loss of two wickets in reply to Tripura’s first inning total of 335. J&K are trailing by 116 runs with 8 wickets in hand. Shubham Singh is at the other end with unbeaten 39.
Earlier pacer Mohammad Tahir took three wickets including prize scalp of centurion SA Gan as hosts Tripura got all out for 335 runs in their first inning in the match of the U-23 CK Nayudu Trophy tournament at Agartalla on Friday.
Gan got out after scoring 104 while as DK Singh scored 60. For J&K apart from Tahir Sunil Kumar and Paras Sharma took three wickets each. Auqib Nabi took one.
J&K had reduced 179 for seven . Then Gan and Singh formed 123 run partnership and took Tripura score past 300 run mark. Paras Sharma broke the long stand and then it did not took long for JK to wrap up inning.
