Green Land Humhama lifted the Big Challengers T20 Super League title defeating Peerbagh Gymkhana in the high profile final clash at Sheikhpora playing field Budgam on Sunday.
In the match, Humhama defeated Gymkhana by four wickets to lift the title in front of large number of spectators who had thronged the venue from adjoining areas to watch the final. Director Tourism Kashmir Mahmood Ahmad Shah was chief guest on the occasion while as sports promoter Arif Laigroo was guest of honor. Among other guests present on the occasion were Mujeeb Ahmed Tramboo, Nazir Ahmed Dar, Majid Khan and Rehman Bhat.
Earlier in the match Peerbagh Gymkhana batting first were bundled out for 129 runs in 19.2 overs. Showkat Malik with 31 was highest scorer for them while as Nazir Ahmad took four wickets for Green Land.
In reply Green Land Humhama achieved required target in 19.3 overs for the loss of six wickets . For them Abid Nabi top scored with 35 runs. Nazir Ahmed for his four wickets was adjudged as man of the match.
Ishtiyaq Rasool for his all-round performance in the event was adjudged as man of the series. In the event he scored 350 runs and took 13 wickets.
