The Chanapora Challengers T20 cricket tournament concluded here at Girls Higher Secondary School Chanapora. The final was played between Friends Cricket Club Chanapora and Lone Mohalla Stars which turned out to be a nail bitter.
After winning the toss Lone Mohalla scored 108 runs in 20 overs. In the reply Friends Cricket Club managed to score 102 runs only thus losing the match by 5 runs. The final was witnessed by a huge crowd from the nearby areas who came to support their teams. During the impressive prize distribution ceremony, many veteran cricketers and Sports promoters were facilitated for their contribution towards the game along with the two finalist teams.
The tournament was organised by Sports Fraternity Chanapora and the members of the fraternity announced to conduct more tournaments in future and to begin with 7 A side Football tournament for the youth of the area.
