Jiyaad Nazir Magrey, Ankush Gill and Taizeem Tak starred as J&K under-19 team registered emphatic 51 run win over Himachal Pradesh in the match of the Under-19 Vinoo Mankand Trophy at Jhajjar on Monday.
In the match Jiyaad scored 72 run knock from 76 balls while as Ankush Gill took four wickets and and Taizeem three. Batting first J&K scored 240 for the loss of all wickets in allotted 50 overs. Jiyaad scored 72 from 76 balls that included 10 boundaries and 3 sixes. Qamran Iqbal scored 43, Sahil Lotra 37 and Abdul Samad 27.
In reply Himachal Pradesh were bundled out for 189 runs in 44.3 overs. For J&K Ankush Gill took 4 wickets , Taizeem Younis Tak took 3. Umar Majeed picked 1 wicket. From match J&K earned four points while as Himachal got none.
Amoung others trainer Aashiq has done great work with boys. He motivated players individually as well worked on their fitness after Delhi loss.
