Dubai Autumn T20 BLAST from October 5

Dubai Autumn T20 blast (DAT) is all set to start from first week of October 2017 where all the top Kashmiri Clubs in UAE will participate for prestigious cup. With an aim to tap the local Kashmiri talent in the UAE, NRK cricket enthusiasts have come up with a Twenty20 tournament which will feature 5 Kashmiri local clubs in UAE this season.Dubai T20 Blast

DAT is a professional Twenty20 cricket Tournament in Dubai contested during autumn of every year by Kashmiri Clubs in UAE.DAT has been designed to entice an entire new generation of sports fans into the grounds throughout UAE. The dynamic Twenty20 format has been designed to attract a young fan base and to get whole Kashmiri community together .After the competition of two Successful season’s organizers decided to run this tournament in October this year and will finish in 1st week of November.

Participating teams include defending champions Lal Bazar Lions, Dubai Hawks (Ist seasons Champions), Kashmir Cricket Club, Dubai Falcons and United Challengers. United Challengers will take on Dubai Falcons in an opening game of the tournament on October 5th at  Ajman MCC. Owners of all 5 clubs participating in the DAT are local cricketers, businessmen and enthusiasts who want to promote the community through cricket.

Ajaz Naqash, Ajaz Bakhsi, Inayat Fazili, Mohsin Fazili, Taseer Buch and Moin Qazi ,who are well known NRK’s in UAE and are known for contributing towards Kashmiri cricket in Dubai are organizing committe of this  tournament.

“LBL looks all set to defend their title this season”.

According to the tournament organizers each team plays each other once in a round-robin format in the league phase. The top team from the league phase will straight qualify for the finals & teams finishing 2nd and 3rd will get a chance to qualify for the final by playing the Qualifying match. Some of the team composition rules are as follows:

Logo of the tournament is designed by Naveed Siraj a well-known Kashmiri professional designer in UAE.
