In order to prepare the college football team for the forthcoming Inter College tournament, the Department of Physical Education Islamia College Srinagar organised a practice cum exhibition football match against State Football Academy Kashmir at Islamia College Football field here on Tuesday afternoon.
Both the teams played wonderful football and made several moves to score against opposite team but the strong defenders of both teams thwarted every move of the forward players. With the result no team could score a goal till the end of the match. The match ended in a goalless draw.
The teams were earlier introduced to the visiting dignitaries of NAAC peer team of Prof. A N Rai (Chairman), Prof. S N Sandhu (member coordinator) and Prof. M. D. Jaghirdar (Member)..
Prof. Muzafar Ahmed Khan principal of the college nd Mr. Bandy ex executive president J&K Bank Sports board and a veteran footballer of his times, were also present on the occasion.
