Let’s be fair, even Babar Azam’s last big knock came against Nepal: Ex-India cricketer raises concern 

Srinagar: Former India opened turned expert Aakash Chopra had raised concern over Pakistan skipper Babar Azam’s lack of runs that stretches back to September.

Babar managed mere 10 runs in the high scoring chase against Sri Lanka in Hyderabad on Tuesday.

While talking on his YouTube channel, Chopra highlighted Babar’s struggle with the bat, emphasizing that his last significant innings dated back to August against Nepal.

“Let’s be fair, even Babar Azam’s last big knock came against Nepal. That was August, September had not even started. Babar Azam has also not scored runs since then,” Chopra said.

Babar has jus scored a total of 61 runs in his last four ODI innings after his 151-run knock against Nepal. However, he did score 80 and 90 runs against New Zealand and Australia in World Cup warm-up matches, respectively.
