Srinagar: Former West Indies all-rounder has written his name in history by becoming second ever batter after Chris Gayle to hit 900 sixes in his career.

The Vipers won the toss and invited the rivals to bat first. Pollard took the defending champions to 159. He scored 36 off 23 balls, with the help of three sixes and two fours.
Pollard completed 900 sixes in his career when he slammed Lockie Ferguson for his second maximum of the day on the first ball of the 19th over. He joined Gayle on the list, and the top four players with the most sixes in T20 cricket are from the West Indies.
