The in house sports activities were started with inter group badminton tournament today at Islamia College badminton courts, here in Srinagar.
The tournament was declared open by Dr. Nusrat Parveen, Astt. Professor in the Department of Electronics of the college. Inaugural match of the tourney was played between ICS Oranges and ICS Yellows and won by the ICS Oranges by 2:0. Faizan and Nihal won their matches for the team. ln the second match of the tournament ICS Whites defeated ICS Greens with the score of 2:1, Nadeem and Zuhaib won their matches for them . The semifinals of the tournament will be played tomorrow (Thursday) between ICS Oranges versus ICS Blues and ICS Whites and ICS Reds. The tournament is organised by Department of Physical Education of the College.
