Government Degree College Magam organized its Intra-mural Badminton championship for men’s and women’s sections.
The championship was inaugurated by the Principal of the College Dr. Ruhi Kanth in presence Dr. Sameer Farooq Parsa (Sports convener) and Dr. Arifa Rashid (Senior Faculty).
In the event total of 40 shutters participated. In the Men’s (single) section Mohd Yaseen of BA 1st year emerged as winner and Muzafar Ahamd of BA 2nd Year as runner-up.
In the Men’s (Double) section Muzamil Manzoor of BA 4th Semester and Aadil Khan of BA 1st Semester emerged as winners and Umar Assadullah of BA 4th Semester and Reshi Mudasir of B.A 2nd Semester as runner ups.
In the Women’s (Single) section Rizwana Bashir 4th Semester emerged as winner and Dilshada Farooq of 4th Semester as runner-up.
The Tournament was organized by Dr. Ujwala Koche Physical Director of the college.
