Srinagar: In the high profile clash of ACC Emerging Asia Cup 2023 , the new look India-A side outplayed star studded Pakistan-A side by eight wickets on Wednesday.

Sai Sudharsan smashed an unbeaten century (104* off 110 balls) and Nikin Jose hit 53 off 64 balls to help India A chase down Pakistan’s A 206-run target in just 36.4 overs.

The stage for India-A big win was set up by Rajvardhan Hangargekar, who picked up 5/42 as India A bowled out Pakistan A for 205 in Colombo.

Hangargekar started off with a double wicket maiden and then came back to finish off the tail. He was well-supported by spinner Manav Suthar, who picked up three wickets. Pakistan A’s Qasim Akram’s 48-run knock was important to take them past 200.

The Yash Dhull-led side will meet Bangladesh A (the runner-up of Group A)  in the semi-final. Pakistan A will meet Group A winners Sri Lanka A in the other semi-final.
