Srinagar: J&K Senior Women’s football team continued its miserable outing in the 27th Senior Womens National Football Championship at Pant Stadium, Bhilai, Chattisgarh, suffering 5-0 defeat at the hands of Delhi on Wednesday.
In its second match of the tournament, J&K were outclassed by Delhi. The Delhi side beat J&K by 5-0 goals.
Deepika Pal scored opening goal of the match for Delhi in 18th minute. At halftime Delhi were leading by 1-0.
In the second half, Delhi went on to pump four more goals to complete the dominating win against sorry J&K. Sanfida Nongrum scored second goal in the 50th minute while as Deepika scored her second and teams third goal in the 55th minute. Jyoti scored fourth and fifth goal for the team in the 85th and 90th minute.
On Monday J&K were outplayed by Madhya Pradesh by 6-0 goals.
