Thanking J&K Cricket Association Administrators and CEO for listening to the request of rushing Under-23 team players Ahmad Banday, Jatin Wadhwan and Shubham Pundir to Hyderabad quickly, J&K skipper Parvez Rasool said that the trio is exceptional talent that is good news for J&K cricket.
“AS J&K Under-23 lost its pre-quarterfinal, team management requested for their services. We requested that they should join team overnight which was readily agreed. The results are I front of everyone as all the three players played a role in our win against Saurashtra,”.
“They were in good touch and we knew they can make our side strong in the event. Still the opposition was far stronger than ours and it need a team effort to register win. Look at the side that Saurashtra posses , they had stars like Jadeja, Pujara and Uthappa and we had none. As for experience and star power we were unmatched but still we went on to win match. These youngsters have got talent to serve JK for long time,” he added.
