Yasir, Shadab crucial against New Zealand

“The role of Shadab Khan and Yasir Shah will also be crucial there as both can run through the sides in their day and are bound to pose problems for the New Zealanders,” said Sallu, while talking to media.

The former chief sector further emphasize on the role of Pakistan batsmen against the opponents. Sallu stated that Pakistan’s top order remains fidgety, which will add further responsibility on the experienced middle order.

“I feel that the onus of responsibility will be on Fakhar Zaman, Babar Azam, Shoaib Malik, Asad Shafiq, Mohammad Hafeez and of course skipper Sarfraz himself to fire on all cylinders and put togather good, decent totals for the team,” he added.

Earlier, former skipper Salman Butt, too stated that the Pakistani batsmen would need to score big runs, to give their potent bowling line a solid platform.

“We would need our batting to click in New Zealand, as I believe that the five ODIs will feature high scoring games, and the batting line has to be more effective in order to win then your bowling,” stated Butt.
