Elias sang, and he trashed John Cena. He was quickly taken out and while Cena stood in the ring upset, his music played. That was it. No Undertaker. No American Bad Ass. No nothing.
Then, the music stopped.
And the lights went down again.
When they came up, Undertaker’s gear was sitting in the ring, just like it was at WrestleMania 33 last year following his defeat to Roman Reigns. Lightning struck, the lights went down again, and the gear was gone as quick as it had come.
The lights went down again.
GONG.
With Cena still up on the stage, “The Deadman” made his entrance.
Cena, who was tough as nails trying to summon “The Phenom,” was scared shitless once he was actually standing across from “The Demon from Death Valley.” The bell rang and, as expected, they had a match.
There wasn’t much to it. Undertaker got his stuff in, including Old School, and when Cena made a brief comeback, ‘Taker sat up before the Five Knuckle Shuffle and Cena was scared out of his boots. A chokeslam and a Tombstone later, that was it.
Undertaker beat Cena easy.
