“Where is Umran Malik?” asks Harbhajan Singh after India’s exit from Asia Cup

The former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh while expressing his dissatisfaction with the Indian team’s performance in the Asia Cup asked where Umran Malik, the Jammu and Kashmir speedster, was.

Harbhajan pointed fingers at the team’s selection. He said he was disappointed as India lost to Sri Lanka and was declared out of Asia Cup on Wednesday.

India first lost to Pakistan in the Super 4’s and then faced a second consecutive defeat at the hands of Sri Lanka. They will now face Afghanistan tonight in the dead rubber.

Harbhajan asked why Umran Malik, the pacer who grabbed eyes for bowling consistently over 150kmph in IPL, wasn’t picked in the squad. He also said why Deepak Chahar didn’t make it to the team.

“Where is Umran malik (150km speed) ? Why Deepak chahar (top quality swing bowler )wasn’t there ? Tell me if these guys don’t deserve the chances ?? Why Dinesh Karthik don’t get chances consistently?? Disappointing” Harbhajan tweeted.
