Wayne Rooney scores first goal since August

Wayne Rooney endured a frustrating night in Turkey as Manchester United were beaten 2-1 by Fenerbahce.

Jose Mourinho opted to start with his captain as a lone striker but Rooney dropped into the No.10 position after Paul Pogba limped off injured.

With Zlatan Ibrahimovic struggling for goals, United fans were hoping this would be the start of Rooney’s return to form.
