The final of Watlaar Champions trophy was on Sunday played between Team Shield and Momentous Cricket Club.
After winning the toss, Momento decided to bat first and put on a mammoth total of 196 with Ajaz and Soliya scoring 47 and 36 respectively.
Chasing the huge target, Shield played some fine cricket to win the match easily. Abid Khan and Shahid Ahmad were stars performers for Team Shield.
The tournament was sponsored by Mirza Sons and Amateur Cricket Club. The chief guests at the event were Abid Pathan- manager of team ACC, Waqar Manzoor from Zee News, and Khan Raja.
At the presentation ceremony, Abid Pathan congratulated the winning team and said that ACC is always available to help in development of cricket in valley.
He also wished best wishes to Parveez Rasool, Umer Nazir and Manzoor Dar for the IPL Auction.
