The inter-group volleyball tournament for the Islamia College students concluded at Islamia College, Hawal today.
ICS Greens defeated ICS Oranges in the finals by 2-1 sets to lift the trophy in a thrilling final volleyball encounter.
The tournament was organized by the Department of Physical Education of the College at its volleyball court. The final score was 25-23, 17-25 and 25-23. Faisal, Aqib, Waqas and Mehraj Mushtaq played very well in the finals.
Prof. G M Tibetbkal principal was the chief guest on the occasion. He gave away the prizes to the winners and the runners up. 15 best players were selected from the players who took part in this group tournament for the college volleyball team which will be finalised after they are further trained in a volleyball coaching camp in the college soon.
Meanwhile Inter group Football tournament for the Islamia College students will start from tomorrow at college play field.
