Playing the last match of season in the Under-19 Cooch behar Trophy, J&K after winning the toss decided to bat first.
Due to some fine bowling by Himachal bowlers, J&K were reduced to 102/8.
Then the trememdous partnership of 116 runs between Umar Majeed and Junaid Farooq helped J&K cross the 200 mark.
Umar scored 76 runs and remained the highest scorer for J&K while as Junaid scored fiery run a ball 60.
In reply, Himachal ended the day on 141 without loss of any wicket.
