Srinagar: Umar Hameed emerged winner in the open long distance running event held at Budgam on Sunday.
District Sports Council Budgam organised an open long distance running event at Budgam in which athletes from Budgam, Pulwama and Anantnag districts participated with great zeal. Umar Hamid of Budgam finished first while as Mohammad Younis from Anantnag finished second. Ifshan Ahmad of Kawoosa Budgam finished third.
Vice Chairman District Sports Council Budgam, Rifat Abdullah flagged off the race, he also distributed prizes among the winners.
