Srinagar: Despite some brilliant individual display Qamran Iqbal and Moomin Mansoor JK were outplayed by Mumbai by nine wickets in the match of the Under-19 cricket tourney at Mumbai on Wednesday.
On the third day of the play, Mumbai forced JK to follow on after bundling them for 256 runs in first inning. In second inning JK again bundled out for 225 runs thus setting 20 runs target for Mumbai to win.
Mumbai achieved target for the loss of only one wicket. Mumbai earned six points from the match while as JK got none.
Apart from crushing defeat there were couple of positives for JK in the match in shape if Qamran ton, Moomin’s all-round performance in which he scored, 54, 31, and took four wickets also Yudhvir Singh six wicket haul. Sahil Lotra scored unbeaten 86 in second inning.
