Srinagar: Brushing off couple of previous below par performance J&K on Thursday earned first inning lead points against Goa in the match of U-19 cricket tournament at Goa.

On the concluding day of the match time came in between JK win as Goa settled for a draw with only three wickets in hand. They were still trailing by 58 runs.

J&K in first inning had scored 214 runs. Qamran Iqbal top scored with 72 runs while as Vivrant scored 54. Moomin Mansoor scored 22 while as Sharukh Ahmad Dar remained unbeaten on 25.

Goa in its first inning were bundled out for 170 runs. For JK Moomin, Sharukh and Faisal bagged three wickets while as Majid Yousuf bagged one.cricket

In second inning JK got all out for 198 runs. Vivrant was top scorer for JK with 89 while as Moomin scored 41.

Chasing a target of 242 runs, Goa were on 183 runs for the loss of seven wickets when play was called off. Both teams settled for a draw with JK earning three first inning lead points. Goa got one. For JK Moomin and Faisal picked three wickets each. Yudhvir took one.
