Srinagar: a defiant show by openers Qamran Iqbal, Vivrant and bowlers have put JK in command against Goa in the match of Under-19 cricket event at Goa on Wednesday.

At lunch break, JK were leading 145 runs in second inning. Earlier batting first JK were able to score 214 runs in first inning for the loss of all wickets. For Jk opener Qamran Iqbal scored 72 while as Vivrant scored 54. Rest of the batsman were not able to put any resistance and whole team got out for 214.


In reply, Goa were bundled out for 170 runs in first inning. Moomkin Mansoor, Faisal Fayaz  and Sharukh Dar took three wickets each for JK while as Majid Yusuf picked one. JK got first inning lead of 44 runs.

In its second inning JK were on 101 runs for the loss of three wickets. Vivrant was batting on 53 and Faizaan Budroo on 11. JK have a lead of 145 runs with seven wickets in hand.
