J&K suffered another inning defeat in the ongoing Under-19 Cooch Behar Trophy as they were defeated by Uttar Pradesh by an inning and 57 runs at Meerut.
In the first inning J&K had scored 281 runs with Jiyaad Nazir scoring 102 run knock for the team. Qamran Iqbal was next best scorer with 43 runs.
In reply UP scored 454 runs for the loss of all wickets. Javid Ahmad picked five wicket for J&K while as Umar Majeed and Sahil took two each.
In its second inning J&K were again bundled out for low score of 116 runs. Umar Majeed top scored with 39. They lost match by 57 runs and an inning.
