Srinagar: After being bundled out for 132 runs in first inning JK are trailing Himachal Pradesh by 135 runs in second inning after scoring 113 runs for the loss of one wicket in their second inning in the match Under-19 national tournament at Amtar on Thursday.
Batting first JK were bundled out for 132 runs in their first inning. Muhammad Shahdad with 42 was highest scorer for them. In reply Himachal score mammoth total of 380 runs for the loss of nine wickets in their first inning. The earned first inning lead of 248 runs. Purab J Singh with unbeaten 112 runs was highest scorer for them. For JK Mujtaba Yusuf and Abdul Samad picked three wickets each. Rather Zamin, Praful Dhar and Raghav picked one wicket each.
In second inning at the end of second day’s play, JK were on , 113 runs for the loss of one wickets. Abdul Samad was the only wicket to fall in JK inning. He played blazing knock of 78 runs from 62 deliveries before getting out. He smashed 13 boundaries. Kanhaiya Wadhwan was unbeaten for JK on 33.
