The moment Afghan Messi fan Murtaza Ahmadi meets Leo

After getting a signed shirt from the five-time Ballon d’Or winner, he now got to meet him. It’s one of the most popular stories of a Lionel Messi fan. A boy from Afghanistan named Murtaza Ahmadi became famous after pictures emerged of a home-made Leo jersey that he had.

Through help from BBC and UNICEF, the location of the young fan was discovered. He then received an original and signed Messi shirt, but was later forced to leave his home country due to kidnap threats.messi-afghan-boy-11
