Srinagar, May 18: Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi Sunday thanked people of Pakistan-administrated Kashmir after his visit to the place.

Afridi remarked that he received a lot of love and care during his stay in the area.

“Thank you Kashmir. I am truly out of words for the love, care and affection experienced in last few days. We are in it together and shall rise together. #HopeNotOut#DonateKaroNa,” He tweeted.

Afridi had earlier also talked about Kashmir, sparking a controversy as several Indian cricketers backlashed. The likes of Gautam Gambhir lashed out the former all-rounder while as Harbhajan Singh and Yuvraj Singh said they are ‘no more friends with him’.
