Srinagar: Zamir Thakur (The President J&K Football Association) has resigned from the post of joint secretary J&K State Sports Council.
In a letter addressed to Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, Thakur on the personal grounded has offered his resignation from the post of the joint secretary as well as membership of Council.
“I was elected as joint secretary sports council Kashmir by the Government vide order no. 107. Edu (Tech) of 2015 dated 18.08.2015 in the meeting of General Council of sports council held on August 18 at Civil Secretariat of the then Chief Minister,” letter read’s
“I hereby resign from the post of joint secretary Kashmir as well as member sports council, J&K Government t today on January 19 2017 due to my personal reasons,” letter added.
