Tea Report: Amir gets Teja after brilliant 81, AP 250/7, trail by 84

Srinagar: Amir Aziz got the crucial wicket of R Teja , breaking the 94 run stand between him and Hebbar leaving Andhra on 250 for the loss seven wickets at tea break against JK on the third day of Ranjhi trophy match at Mumbai on Saturday.

Teja fell after scoring brilliant 81 runs and had crucial partnership of 94 runs with Hebbar that had frustrated JK bowlers. At tea break, AP were trailing JK’s first inning total by 84, with Hebbar batting on 35.

Earlier AP didn’t got to good start to the day as skipper and mainstay of their batting, Vihari was run out by Manhas. On the same score of 76 runs, AP lost another wicket, this time that of Bhargav, Amir Aziz was bowler. At the score of 90, AP lost fifth wicket, Amir Aziz was again the bowler. Then Ravi Teja and G Pradeep formed 66 run partnership. Parvez Rasool broke that partnership just before lunch break by getting wicker of Pradeep who scored 47 run knock.

Amir Aziz has bagged three while as Parvez Rasool bagged two for JK. Umer Nazir bagged one on Friday.

JK in its first inning had scored 334 runs, Shubham was top scorer with 90, Bandeep scored 63 and Parvez scored 45.
