Gurseer Sopore, June 11: In the ongoing Summer Cup Gurseer, Delina Spartans defeated Nowpora Sports by a healthy margin of 27 runs.
After being invited to bat first, Delina Spartans posted a total of 151/6 on board in alloted 20 overs. Zahoor Gojri played a brilliant innings of 56 runs while as Aasif Majeed added unbeaten 29 runs to his name. Ishfaq and Urfi took 2 wickets for Nowpora.
In reply, Nowpora failed to chase the target and got bundled out on 124 in 19 overs. Zubair Dar scored 31 runs while as Jahangir Lone added 25 runs to his name. Aasif Majeed and Rahi Bashir took 3 wickets each for Delina Spartans.
Aasif Majeed was declared as player of the match for his brilliant all-round performance.
