In a major development Al India Football Federation (AIFF) axed legendary footballer Baichung Bhutia from the AIFF technical Committee. However there was good news for the football fans of Kashmir , with star footballer, Ishfaq Ahmad gets place in the newly formed committee.
Shyam Thapa has been appointed as Chairman of the Technical Committee of the All India Football Federation (AIFF). Henry Menezes is the new vice-chairman of the committee, which will also include GP Palguna, Abhishek Yadav, Pradip Dutta, Ishfaq Ahmed, Prosanto Banerjee and Sundar Raman.Baichung Bhutia
However, among the new inductions across all the committees, there are several IMG members as well.
The foresaid list of IMG members in the AIFF sub-committee include Vandana Gupte (Legal Advisory Committee), Chirag Tanna, Rochak Langer (League Committee), Devang Bhimjyani (Competitions Committee), G Srinivvasan (Futsal and Beach Soccer Committee), Yas Patel (Development Committee) and Swati Kothari (Women’s Football Committee).
It is big news for the football fans of the Kashmir as tio be part of this committee is no small thing. Technical committee is the body that recommends and oversees the development of football in India.
