Srinagar: One of the notable footballer of State and who currently was playing for SRTC football team Shabir Ahmad Dar passed away on Saturday morning at his home in Mehjoor Nagar, Srinagar.
Shabir was part of SRTC team from last 8 years and before that used to play for J&K police football team. He was part of many successfully campaign at national and local level for both sides.
J&K Football Association has condoled the demise of the Shabir. In this connection District Football Association Srinagar held condolence meet under its chairman Shri Fayaz Ahmad Sofi. The Association prayed to Allah for his eternal rest in Janat-ul-Firdous and courage to the bereaved family.
