Srinagar: District Srinagar Badminton Championship Concluded at Indoor Sports complex here on Friday. About 155 participants including both boys and girls of age group under 10, under 15, under 17 and under 19, besides seniors and veterans took part in the championship.
Besides Players large number of local youth and civil society members witness the closing ceremony of the Championship. The championship was organized by the J&K Badminton Association and sponsored by the Jammu and Kashmir State Sports Council.
Later on the Secretary, Jammu and Kashmir State Sports Council distributed the prizes and certificates among the Winners and Runner up teams. In his brief address, he congratulated the winners and the Runners up teams and urged all the players to play the game and play it well. He congratulated the organisers for smoothly organizing the tournament.
Pertinent to mention here that the championship witnessed huge participation of teams, and today, it was concluded with great fervor.
