Jammu and Kashmir State Sports Council has distributed cricket team kits, team uniforms and tracksuits among the players of the J&K Para Cricket Club.
The team comprising of 16-youngsters, were given uniforms, tracksuits and other things mandatory for playing cricket by the Secretary State Sports Council, Waheed Ur Rehman Parra.
The players later interacted with Secretary Council and other officials . Players also played a friendly match that was appreciated by all the persons present there.
“Sports Council is trying best to involve more and more youth into the sports. We want to promote sports activities in the State among the students and others. We are trying to make impact in the areas of physical health, cognitive and academic development, and making substantial contribution tow
ards the development of society,” said Parra.
Meanwhile, the president of the Para Cricket Club appreciated the enthusiasm shown by the Sports Council towards the initiative of providing space for special youth.
