Mohammad Shafi scored mammoth ton of 153 runs to help his side Rising Star beat Syndicate XI in the match of the Sopore Super League at Seer sport field on Saturday.
Rising Star defeated Syndicate-XI. Batting first, Rising Star scored 361 runs for the loss of six wickets. Mohammad Shafi scored huge ton of 153 runs while as Parvez scored 77. Abid and Umer took two wickets each for Syndicate.
In reply, Syndicate-XI were able to score 287 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in allotted overs. They lost match by 74 runs. Umer with 87* was highest scorer for them, Imran scored 55. Irshad scored 50. Tahir took 2 wickets for Rising Star while as Mohammad Shafi took 1.
Mohammad Shafi for his 153 run knock 153 and one wicket was adjudged as man of the match.
