In another shocking announcement controversy plagued J&K Cricket Association on Thursday announced Under-19 team that misses the name of highly talented Mujtaba Yousuf who was recently selected for India Under-19 camp.
JKCA announced a 16 member squad for upcoming Vinod Makand Under 19 tournament;
The selected list of players include;
Team: Kamran Iqbal, Jiyaad Magray, Waseem Kachur, Taizeem Tak, Sharif Shafaat,Umar Lone, Jameel Nazir, Mudabir Ahmad, Vivrant Sharma ,Sahil Lotra ,Kanaya Wadhwan ,Ayush Singh
,Abdul Samad,Balwan Singh, Sawan Singh, Ankush Gill
In another shocking announcement, JKCA didn’t involve Mujtaba Yousuf who just returned from India Under 16 camp. Mujtba after performing brilliantly in North Zone matches, was selected for NCA India under 16 camp. JKCA by sidelining him, made it clear that selection process is completely based on favortism and back door entry. This is completely unacceptable, how will JKCA explain his exclusion from the team. #DarTahseen– another talented and experienced player is also not part of the list. According to sources, some players in the list were not even part of Shortlist but they are included in the team on backdoor entry. JKCA is destroying cricketers by selecting teams on favoritism basis.
